Do you think you know Web 2.0? Check out this quiz tool...

I found this new tool today http://www.proprofs.com that allows me to make an online quiz and post to a blog/wiki. Let me know what you think of the tool.

This was the first test creation tool that I found worked with a blog/wiki. in the past, I used a survey tool to capture information. Also, Atomic Learning is about to announce a Tech Skills Assessment www.AtomicLearning.com/assessment based on ISTE NETS-S 2007. You can schedule a Web Demonstration by contacting cs@AtomicLearning.com

Mary, Is the new tool grade specific - meaning will it be a good tool to judge our "Grade 8 Technology Competency" for NCLB?

There are several assessment tools on the market and I am not aware of any that are required by DOE/NCLB. I am hoping the tool will help assess what students know at specific grade levels to help us determine how to meet the new ISTE/MA DOE frameworks. Our district has been researching a few tools and we plan on looking at this product when it is released in November.

Very interesting tool. Definitely want to learn more about it. I don't currently do assessments myself, but would be interested in sharing it with staff.
