I decided to take the same PowerPoint presentation that I created in Voicethread and upload to Shareslide and RockYou. This is another way to take something I would normally save on my tablet or network and allow me to publish. I hope you try to publish using slideshare and voicethread.

I just created my first Voicethread using pictures I took last week at school. It was not a difficult process at all. I'm anxious to see if folks can view it on the wiki for my group (it's on the sidebar as a link) because I made it private and just entered in manually the email addresses of those people I want to allow to view it. So much more fun than a plain powerpoint!
I tried using slideshare this week. Similar to Tina's voicethread I took all of the pictures I took and put them into a powerpoint to upload to slideshare. I would have liked to have added the pictures directly like you can do in voicethread but that was not one of the options (it wanted a powerpont or open source power point equivalent). Also, I wanted to embed it in my blog's sidebar. Even though I enabled embedding, I was only able to do this if I made it public. Also, it did not work as I expected it to (like the bubbleshare on Mary's page where you can see several slides at once as it runs down the sidebar). Mine only showed the first slide and when you clicked on it, it took you to slideshare.
